Issue Summary
While the Opsgenie mobile app does show upcoming on-calls for each rotation, the current on-call display can be misleading when partial overrides are in place.
Currently, in the Opsgenie Mobile application, when multiple on-call rotations are set up to cover different time periods and a partial override is applied to a user in any rotation, the "Who is on-call" section shows the on-call user from the next rotation, which may lead to confusion for users trying to determine current coverage when there are partial overrides.
Steps to Reproduce
- Configure multiple rotations in Opsgenie to cover different time periods (For example:
configure two rotations in Opsgenie:
-
- Rotation 1: Monday 06:00 to Friday 18:00
-
- Rotation 2: Friday 18:00 to Monday 06:00 (weekend coverage).
-
- Add a partial override to one of the rotations, covering only a portion of its scheduled period (add a partial override to Rotation 2 (e.g., Friday 18:00 to Saturday 18:00).)
-
- View the on-call schedule in the Opsgenie Mobile application.
Expected Results
The "Who is on-call" section should accurately display the on-call user for the remaining period of the rotation after a partial override concludes.
Actual Results
After the override ends, the app displays the on-call user from the next rotation, rather than the current on-call user for the rest of the affected rotation.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
