Issue Summary

Standalone OpsGenie customers who use the “Try Migration Demo” button from Settings > Migrate OpsGenie are seeing that the demo JSM instance created for them is being auto-billed for the premium plan if they have a billing profile.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log in to OpsGenie
2. Navigate to Settings > Migrate OpsGenie.
3. Click on the “Try Migration Demo” button.
4. Wait for the demo JSM instance to be created.
5. Check the billing section in Atlassian billing page for the newly created JSM trial instance.

Expected Results

The demo JSM instance should remain in the trial mode and should not be auto-billed.

Actual Results

The Atlassian billing page shows charges for the JSM demo instance.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available
