User Problem

In the current design, whenever the rate limits are reached on Opsgenie side, the alerts are not created anymore and 429 errors are returned in the logs. This does not notify the users of any issues as the errors can only be seen when mabually checked on the logs. 

Suggested Solutions

Notify concerned users when API call requests return 429 responses to avoid missing important alerts. This will ensure to inform users about this scenario, allowing for timely mitigation of issues.

Current Workarounds

As of now, we can only kow of rate limits being hit by checking the logs that return 429 error response codes.
