Issue Summary

After the March 2025 Android 15 security update, the Opsgenie app is no longer able to override the phone’s sound settings (Silence and Vibrate modes) on a Android 15 devices. This prevents audible notifications even when the user is on-call and all necessary app permissions are granted.

Steps to Reproduce

• Install the latest Android 15 security update (March 1, 2025) on a device;
• Ensure Opsgenie app has all required permissions, with notifications (sound and vibration) fully enabled.
• Set the phone to Vibrate or Silence mode.
• Trigger a test alert in Opsgenie.

Expected Results

Opsgenie should override the device's Silence or Vibrate mode and play the configured alert sound, as it did prior to the update.

Actual Results

No audible notification is played. The phone remains silent, despite Opsgenie alert being triggered and permissions being granted.

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
