User Problem

Currently, Opsgenie does not provide a built-in way to automatically ignore alerts that occur on weekends, directly in the integration. Users managing integrations like GrayLog need to suppress non-critical alerts during specific days (Saturday and Sunday) to reduce noise and avoid unnecessary escalations.

While Opsgenie supports alert filtering using regex rules, there is no dynamic way to filter alerts based on the day of the week, making it difficult to apply weekend-based filtering.

Suggested Solutions

To implement a way to set the weekends in the Ignore alert action directly in the integration.
