      User Problem

We would like to see OEC provide the ability to secure passwords so we don't need to keep user account password in plain text

      Suggested Solutions

      Current Workarounds

The general way to pass specific variables in to the scripts that OEC triggers is either through a config file (which stores those environment variables in plain text) or through the actual alert data that Opsgenie sends to OEC. Users can build out their own method to store encrypted data, and then retrieve and decrypt it through the script/s
