User Problem
Currently, in the Microsoft Teams Integration with Opsgenie, the alert card only has four fixed options: Acknowledge, Close, Add Note, and Snooze. There is no option to customize these buttons to add predefined tags or perform other actions. Users who frequently need to add predefined tags to alerts must perform this manually, which is time-consuming and could lead to errors or delays.
Users want the ability to extend the alert card with custom buttons that perform predefined actions, such as adding a specific tag. This would enhance efficiency and reduce the need to switch between interfaces for simple tasks.
Suggested Solutions
Allow users to customize the buttons that appear on the alert card within Teams. A possible implementation could be allowing admins to configure new buttons in the integration settings, which can trigger predefined actions such as adding tags, escalating alerts, or other Opsgenie functionalities.
The button configuration could be based on the same logic used for automation rules, but applied to the Teams alert interface. This way, teams can tailor the alert management experience to their specific workflow requirements.
