Issue Summary
Hello team,
Currently when the email integration is created with "Conversation Subject" and when the alert is created based on this setting any Re or Fwd to the original email(Containing the Email integration email address)is correctly considered as a Conversation and gets deduplicated without creating a new alert.
However, when the reply happens from a different language(Ex. German AW or WG) Opsgenie creates a new alert considering it as a new alert payload
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes) / (no)
Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Send an email to create an alert to the Email integration (where Conversationsubject is used as a filter or Alias)
- Step 2 reply or Forward the email including the Email integration with the English reply option. We will not find a new alert instead it will be deduplicated
- When the same email is replied to from a different language email account then Opsgenie will recognise it as a different subject line and creates a new alert.
Expected Results
If the alert email is replied to from any language email account it should get deduplicated and don't create a new alert.
Actual Results
When the same email is replied to from a different language email account then Opsgenie will recognise it as a different subject line and creates a new alert
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
