Issue Summary
Notifications are sent even after enabling mute for several hours.
This happens when a bulk number of alerts are set to trigger notifications at the same time.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Notification policy to delay the alerts for 5 minutes.
- Ensure that you have voice notification enabled
- Iterate and create up to 20 alerts
Expected Results
When the mute notification is enabled, all the notifications need to be suppressed during the mute time.
Muting the notification is supposed to cancel the notifications that are already scheduled.
Actual Results
Note - Do not Ack or close the alert when you get aggregated notification just disconnect the call.
- I got the 1st call, I attended that and disconnected it
- Created the mute for several hours - To be precise 4 hours.
- After 4 mins I got the aggregated notification, I attended and just disconnected it
- After 4 mins I got another call for just 1 alert and I disconnected the call again
- Then after 4 mins I got another call for aggregated notification and I just disconnected the call again
Workaround
Acknowledge all the alerts when aggregated notification is sent.
