Issue Summary

After this change, special characters like dots and hyphens are started to be removed. This causes unwanted alert messages for users.

Special characters are also included in alert fields.

Actual Results

Special characters are removed from alert fields.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
