Issue Summary
Jira Service Management plans without access to voice notifications for Opsgenie alerts still allow a user to configure voice notification rules in their profile.
The voice notification will fail but continue processing other rules.
Steps to Reproduce
- Select a Jira Service Management plan without voice notifications.
- Head to your user profile
- Add a voice notification method
- Add that voice notification method to a notification rule.
Expected Results
User is not allowed to add a voice contact method and notification rule if the plan does not allow that type.
Actual Results
User is allowed to add a voice contact method and notification rule if the plan does not allow that type.
Workaround
Ensure notification rules include other contact methods (SMS, mobile, email) so that alerts are not missed.
