Summary:

Currently when there are groups on Server that were deleted in past but still have references to projects, JCMA throws an error like below:

2021-11-25 12:20:04.356 ERROR ABC project-export Group reference could not be found. Check if the group reference: "XYZ" exists.

Basically, it does not tell us where exactly in the project the group reference exists and the error is kind of misleading.

Expectations:

We need improved logging with JCMA so that customer can self serve them seeing what and where exactly things are going wrong.

Temporary workaround:

Create all such groups in Server so that there is no missing reference and perform the migration, you can delete them once the migration has been completed
