      Issue Summary

JCMA is currently not migrating issue types' icons.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a jira project on server
      2. Create some new issue types and associated them to that project
      3. Change the issue type icons to other options available from JIRA
      4. Migrate the project to Cloud via JCMA

      Expected Results

The issue types should be migrated with their respective icons.

      Actual Results

The issue types icons are all defaulted to one in Cloud and not even the default issue types get the correct icon:

      Workaround

Manually customize the issue type icons in Cloud - Add, edit, and delete an issue type.

We're seeing this as well with the latest JCMA migrating from on-prem to cloud with both standard and custom issue types.

Agree with @Jenifer, the documentation mentions that "custom issue type icons" will not be migrated, it leads you to believe that the default ones will.

Reposting Roberts comment. The fact that the documentation says "custom issue type icons" indicates the standard ones would come over.

I can confirm that this bug is still in effect. If this is not going to be addressed in the near term could it be documented on the page below?

That way at least expectations are managed properly.
