Issue Summary

After migrating from Jira Cloud to Jira Cloud, links of the format:

• https://site.atlassian.net/jira/software/c/projects/PLAT/issues
• https://site.atlassian.net/jira/core/projects/DEV/issues/DEV-1568

are not fixed.

Scenario

• Jira Cloud -> Jira Cloud migration
• Confluence may or may not be migrated

Steps to Reproduce

Jira Cloud

1. Create a Jira project - PLAT
2. Visit the landing page
3. Copy the link in the URL bar. It should resemble:
   https://site.atlassian.net/jira/software/c/projects/PLAT/issues
4. Paste this link into a Jira issue description or comment
5. Copy Jira data to another site.
6. Contact Atlassian cloud migration support to fix links/Run Update product links
7. Open the migrated Jira issue description or comment

Jira + Confluence Cloud

1. Create a Jira project - DEV
2. Visit the landing page for the Jira project
3. Create an issue
4. Copy the link in the URL bar. It should resemble:
   https://site.atlassian.net/jira/core/projects/DEV/issues/DEV-1568
5. Paste this link into a Confluence page
6. Copy Confluence data to another site.
7. Contact Atlassian cloud migration support to fix links/Run Update product links
8. Open the migrated Confluence page

Expected Results

Links to Jira project URLs are updated and function/redirect correctly after migration and link fixing

Content is not updated with workaround scripts
