Problem Definition
After a Confluence Server/Data Center to Confluence Cloud migration, customers wish to redirect customers to the correct link. Custom solutions will be set up (for example https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Migration-Program/Don-t-Let-Your-Users-End-up-in-a-Dead-End/ba-p/2508545), however, it is currently necessary for Atlassian support to provide the mappings.
This suggestion is for a self-service means for customers to obtain the mappings of all migrated Confluence content WITHOUT the involvement of Atlassian support.
Sample potential output
source_contentid,destinationcontentid 1212434,410812424 1212435,410812423
spaceKey,page Title,Server pageId,Server URL,Cloud pageId,Cloud URL MAP2,page2,1212434,http://confluence-macbook-pro.local:41235/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1212434,410812424,https://cloudconfluence.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MAP2/pages/410812424/page2 MAP2,page1,1212435,http://confluence-macbook-pro.local:41235/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1212435,410812423,https://cloudconfluence.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MAP2/pages/410812423/page1
Suggested Solution
Mappings are made available:
- in the Atlassian admin hub
- in Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA) for each successful migration plan

Access our open-source tool for ID mapping
Cloud Transition Tools (CTT) is a deployable application designed to help you resolve integration issues that arise after migrating to cloud. This is particularly relevant for Jira entities like Projects, Issues, Boards, Filters, and Custom Fields, which may have their integer IDs changed during migration from self-managed environments to cloud, potentially disrupting integrations that rely on these IDs. By providing APIs for ID mapping and translation, CTT ensures that your external integrations remain functional post-migration. This open-source tool can be integrated directly with your applications or accessed via REST APIs to address ID mismatches efficiently.
