Description
Issue Summary
The New Jira Cloud Migration Assistant does not migrate Remote links such as Confluence link reference, this is an expected behaviour and is mentioned in What gets migrated with the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant
Steps to Reproduce
- Try to migrate Jira Server which has page link such as wiki links on Jira Issues using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant
Expected Results
Migrate successfully with the Reference remote links as well
Actual Results
After migration, under the new issue, the Remote links are being missed
From support.zip logs you will see the below:
[c.a.j.m.e.core.issue.ChangeGroupExporter$CloudChangeItemConverter] RemoteIssueLink on Issue XXXX-1XX1 is not supported
Workaround
Download the latest version of the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant or any version from 1.5.2
- Enter the URL in your web browser (change Jira_URL below with your Jira server URL):
{Jira_URL}/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa
- Add the Dark feature "com.atlassian.jira.migration.remote-link-migration.feature" and save.
- Start your migration as usual.
Suggestion
Please migrate the Remote link when Projects are migrated using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.
