Issue Summary

When doing a site import some customers are facing a timeout after the file gets uploaded and processed.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Take a backup of Jira
2. Perform a site import on the destination

Expected Results

Import completes successfully.

Actual Results

Import fails at the beginning of the import process.

Error logs in the backend:

com.atlassian.jira.httpclient.impl.UnexpectedHttpResponseException: Unexpected response received from media-api-client response with status 500
.....

Workaround

Retry the import, the error is transient and doesn't seem to be consistent.

Notes

It seems to be more prominently happening for large XML files.
