When selecting the filter "My open issues", Jira filters for "To Do" and "In Progress" statuses

Issue Summary

By default, Jira filter "My open issues" will filter for the statuses "To Do" and "In Progress" rather than the current Open statuses categories in the workflow lifecycle.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a workflow with different statuses that are does not contain To Do or In Progress
2. Access the project in question and click at Issues
3. Select the filter "My open issues"

Expected Results

The filter should work in accordance to the project's workflow Open statuses category.

Actual Results

By default, the filter uses the To Do and In Progress statuses to determine if there are issues open or not, even if the Statuses are not part of the workflow.

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
