NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

Swimlanes (and the attached JQL schemes) would be very useful in a business context, i.e: creating team to-do lists, creating multi-team projects, etc), but it seems as if this feature was not ported over.

Can we pretty please add swimlanes into JIRA Work Management?

[JWMCLOUD-25] Swimlanes for JIRA Work Management

            I'd like that!

The thing is also - why let us use epics, if there are no features for the board to display them as swimlanes?

Would really love to see this feature implemented for the Business Boards.

Is there an ETA for this?

I agree with 095defdb86e7 They brought it up at Team 24: [On demand |Product Spotlight: The New Jira (atlassian.com)|https://events.atlassian.com/team-digital/v/s-2213550]

It sems they are going to start to blend the unique features of JWM and JSM into just Jira.

I had been tracking a ticket where I wanted to use Forms (which currently are only part of JWM templates) on JSM projects and it has to be enabled by support till it's fully released.

It would make sense this feature will be part of the new Jira experience.

I don't want to disregard the support for this feature request, but considering JWM and JSW are set to merge into a single product, I would say this feature is going to be bundled into that and the 'boards' view in JWM is just going to disappear.

Adding this would have a meaningful positive effect on our work management and our teams.  Applying the swimlane is quite a familiar feature among other work management systems.  With such a degree of consumer feedback, getting a response from the platform dev team on their thoughts would be huge.  It seems like this has been "hanging out there" for some time.

This would be an excellent improvement. Hope Atlassian don't take 10 years to implement it.
