Issue Summary

In a JWM business project, when creating issues from JWM list view or while submitting a JWM form, the issue is not being assigned to the default assignee

Default assignee is set if the issues are created from the global "Create" button or from the JWM board. However, it is not working as expected in JWM list view and JWM forms.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a JWM project
2. Set default assignee as Project lead from Project settings
3. Create an issue via JWM forms or JWM list page

Expected Results

If default assignee is configured in the project, the created issue should be assigned to the default assignee

Actual Results

If the issue is created from JWM list view or JWM forms, the issue is not assigned to the default assignee.

Workaround

Use automation for Jira to ensure that the issue is assigned to the default assignee when an issue is created in the JWM project.
