I have issues in an Epic that belong to a different project than the Epic e.g Epic is in project RTT and issues in Epic are in project TASK.
I am viewing the Epic (RTT-11) and I used the Actions menu next to TASK-15 to create a sub-task. The sub-task was created in project RTT. I expected the sub-task in TASK project.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create an Epic inside a project (RTT-11 in my screenshots)
2. Add an issue to the Epic from a different project (TASK-15 in my screenshots)
3. Navigate to the Actions menu next to TASK-15
4. Click on "Create sub-task"
5. The title in the Create screen indicates the sub-task will be placed in TASK
![]()
6. Create the sub-task
7. Sub-task created in RTT
![]()
