Ability to select Sprint in Basic Search

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      1. When trying to select Sprint field in Basic Search (see image attached), user gets "Sprint is not applicable for the current project and/or issue type". On the other hand, user can search for issues by Sprint through Advanced Search.
      2. If the project is selected in the Issue Navigator, it allows to select Sprint field in 'More Criteria' but the drop down is empty (Second attachment)

            we just updated to Jira-Server v.7.13.1 and got this Problem > Advanced Search for Sprints is working but the BasicSearch doesn't show any Results.--

             Can you please reopen this issue or give us some Information for Bug-Fix?

            To clarify the status, this Suggestion has now been resolved and will be available in an upcoming release of JIRA Agile.
            edit: The fix version is 6.7.1 which is now available on JIRA Cloud and will be available shortly on JIRA Server.
            edit: The Server release will be 6.7.2.

            mjopson I am re-opening this feature request as it is still occurring in JIRA Agile v6.7.0 OnDemand/Cloud. The 6.7.Next fix version is ambiguous

            Please update with status.

            marion.rosner, I can't give an exact date but the work is done and ready to ship.
            As a guide JIRA Agile typically ships a new release every 2 weeks.
