• We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

When JIRA is behind the firewall and if the Greenhopper feedback module is enabled it throws javascript exceptions. This could be handled as a feature to have a global configuration which indicates to JIRA that internet connection should not be attempted (including UPM probably).

Atlassian Status as at 28th August 2012

We hardened this code in GreenHopper 5.10.6 so that most users should not see errors of this sort.

We've further hardened the code in the forthcoming GreenHopper 6.0.2. Once GreenHopper 6.0.2 is released all users will be able to upgrade to this version and be assured these errors are resolved.

      Thank you.

      Regards,
      Shaun Clowes
