Currently JIRA Portfolio is missing a filter to see only all epics finalized before a certain date or starting after a certain date or a combination. Having such a filter makes it much easier to communicate the consequences of a specific scenario to all the stakeholders (e.g. list all the epics that were actually included in the plan, by simply filtering away all epics finishing after the finalization of the planning period)
