Visual RAG-like health status indicator field for Jira and Roadmaps

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Health indicators such as RAG (Red, Amber, Green) are widely adopted in Project Management and stats reporting everywhere.

      This request is to have Jira and Advanced Roadmaps provide this feature natively.
      This visual indicator should work in filter results, dashboard gadgets, Jira issue view, agile boards and Roadmap Plans.

      Given the wide variety of thresholds from context to context, company to company, it may be more adequate to allow the field to be inputted (like a Select List) instead of dynamically calculated.

      Workaround

      An alternative to such feature's either making use of 3rd party apps from the Marketplace or using a Select List custom field with UTF characters/emoji as described in:
