Problem

When trying to add a screenshot to an issue in text mode under the Agile board view, The screenshot dialog removes the comments entered and just attaches the file to the issue without comment.

Environment

Jira Datacenter 9.4.10
.

Steps to Reproduce

• Navigate to the Kanban Board view
• Select an issue and click on add comment in text mode.
• Type some text in the comment, Take a screenshot of a page, and try to paste it into the comment section.
• The screenshot gets attached to the issue without a comment

Note that this works fine in the standard Issue view which allows us to attach screenshots in text mode along with comments.

Expected Results

• The screenshot gets attached to the issue in text mode and allows you to continue typing the comment.

Actual Results

The screenshot is attached as a file without any comment on the issue.

Workaround

• Attach the screenshot in Visual mode along with text comments.
