Issue Summary
Customer has developed and installed a plugin (Field sync plugin) which is datacenter and server compatible(same jar for DC and server) in a Jira server instance and he is using a DC evaluation license on the plugin.
This gives a warning "This app has a Data Center license, but the installed version is not Data Center compatible"
Steps to Reproduce
- Steps to reproduce:
- Setup a Jira Server (we used 8.6) and enter a normal Jira Server license.
- Install an app that is both Jira Server and DC compatible.
- Enter a DC evaluation license for the app.
Expected Results
DC licenses should work fine on Jira Server
Actual Results
Actual Result: UPM shows a warning message (as shown in the attachment) that says "This app has a Data Center license, but the installed version is not Data Center compatible" which is both inaccurate (the app is DC compatible) and irrelevant (we are on a Jira Server, not DC).
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
