Improve Mobile App iOS and Android: Attachments

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      Currently attachment functionality is very limited in the Jira Server mobile app for both iOS and Android, whereby fetching and uploading attachments are not yet possible.

      This ticket is raised as a public ticket so users can track.

            Uploading attachments is available both for iOS and Android users 
            Android users can upload files in description and comments, iOS users can upload files in description (options will be expanded later this year)

            Upload attachments for iOS will be available in version 1.37. Make sure to update your app to get the feature

            5a4eaa9feaf3 we're now finishing with this feature for iOS users and hopefully will deliver in scope of 2-3 weeks. If something changes, I'll provide updates

            Any updates on this?  We have Facility support + Field Services teams that utilize Apple devices.  They currently have no ability to access/upload attachments via their mobile app.  We are on Data Center.
