Kanplan backlog view hangs forever, page refresh does not help.

This happens for users that:

have just upgraded from JSW version 7.4(kanplan phase1) to version>=7.5 (kanplan phase2)
open board of an old(created with 7.4) kanban project which:
- has at least one Epic
- has epic inline dialog active(wasn't dismissed by the user before)
use IE11

Workarounds:

user opens the board in a different browser and dismisses the dialog (it is a one-off information popup, will not show up for the second time if dismissed)
