Release Date picker broken when interface language is set to other language

      Summary

      When user interface language is set to German or other language than English, the Release Date picker shows 'undefined'.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new "Scrum software development" project
      2. Add a new release version in "Releases" page
      3. Change UI language to German or other language than English
      4. Try to release the newly created version and open the Release Date picker to modify the date

      Expected Results

      Release Date picker get displayed correctly

      Actual Results

      See screenshot below

      Notes

      • When using "Build and release", the Release Date picker get displayed correctly.
      • Same issue can also be reproduced when UI language is changed to French, Russian, Korean and Japanese

      Workaround

      Change the UI language to English.

            We are also affected by this issue. Running Jira on 2 different servers... one showing this behaviour, but the other does not.

            I just compared system settings in Jira and this is what I found out:

            While both servers are configured to display content in German language, the server running with a normal datepicker has (service-)user language set to "English (United States)", whereas the other is set to "Deutsch (Deutschland)". May be some endpoints of the server are generating date information according to these settings, though the frontend does expect a different format and this only happens if language wasn't set to "English (United States)".

            What are the language settings of the user that runs the service? Perhaps setting this to 'Englisch (US)' solves this issue as a workaround...

            If it does, please, comment on this for giving Atlassian some clues to look at it.
