A recent update for JIRA Cloud removed the Attach Screenshot action and dialog, in favor of a feature that allows screenshots to be attached by pasting images from the clipboard directly in to the issue details screen, using the paste hotkey appropriate for the OS (i.e. CTRL+V in Windows).
With the previous Attach Screenshot functionality, it was possible to paste images, via the modal dialog, directly from a Kanban or Scrum board view, by first selecting a card and then selecting the Attach Screenshot action (through one of several methods). This is no longer possible with the new functionality.

[JSWSERVER-14598] Restore the ability to attach screenshots from a Kanban or Scrum board view
Ctrl + V feature does not work smoothly at-least on the firefox browser. We have to try Ctrl V several times to get the Attach Screenshot dialog to appear. This is very frustrating and resulting in loss of productivity where one user has to attach around 20 images on a daily basis.
Could you please keep the new feature + put the More > Attach Screenshot menu back ?
I would also like to see this feature restored. I'm trying to create projects where the users can do everything they need to from a Kanban board. Not being able to add a screen shot there is a step backwards.
We just upgraded to 7.1.7 from 6.4.11 and I have engineers and QA at my door frusterated with the mess Atlassian has made of allowing screen shots in issues.
With you shot from the hip change of this feature you have really dissapointed engineers and users alike."Where is the ablity to add a screen shot on the scrum and kankan boards!!!! The menu Item is gone and you can't even use the "." hot key to add a screenshot. Only the Add file shows up.
You guys really screwed up on this one. I have read the forums and all the comments and agree 100% with them all wanting this feature back on the boards. I know you move by vote as to what gets fixed but in this case. Listen to your customers and the 100's of engineers they are getting flack from, because you removed this ability. I manage 360 project in JIRA with 2000 engineers using those projects and sense upgrading last Friday have had 35 of them asking me what the heck is going on and what you guys were thinking.
Enough ranting I just want to know a timeline as to when you will fix a feature you have broken in JIRA??????

As you can see in screenshot-1, i must have this auto rename screenshot to explain what is the issue on which screenshot.
Now with the new updated version JIRA v7.0.0-OD-02-247, i must save the screenshot with a desired name on my local computer before i can upload it on Jira. This process takes so much more time for me.
I need to have the old feature back, or maybe a mix of both work if possible.
