Sometimes it's possible to make it load, but it's intermittent and doesn't seems to have anything else related.

      Environment

      • JIRA 7.0.0-OD-08-002

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add Sprint Burndown gadget to the dashboard
      2. In gadget's configuration, select the board with the current active Sprint and refresh interval is 15 minutes, Save.

      Expected Results

The gadget should load the data

      Actual Results

The gadget does not load any data (blank)

      Workaround

      1. If you are the owner of the Dashboard: Click Edit -> Cancel on the gadget configuration.
      2. If you are not, you can either:
        • Copy that dashboard and then click Edit -> Cancel button Or
        • Ask the owner of the board to change the Refresh Interval of the gadget to 15 minutes, the data will be loaded after 15 minutes.

      Notes:
This happens mainly on Google Chrome, also verified in Safari and IE.
      Firefox can be used instead.

Wow - I cannot believe Atlassian has not addressed this since 2015! You can count us in on this - no good on Jira Server 8.1.2

I still have this problem with both "Days Remaining in Sprint" and "Sprint Burndown" gadgets using Jira Server version 7.13.5. When I try recreating the wallboard with these gadgets, I'll get data in these two gadgets - but it's for the wrong sprint.

We have the same issue.  I am not able to edit the sprint burndown gadget. Jira 7.12.1 Server.

This is a joke… You fixed on cloud and you close to issue on Server. For the amount we pay, could you please FIX your bug on Server too or just be honest and don't support server anymore...

            Hi Atlassian,

we are facing this problem aswell on Jira 7.9.2 Server.

The workaround doesn't apply to us since we are not able to edit the gadget (only minimize or delete) even on a cloned dashboard.

Please reopen this issue since this seems not to be fixed yet.

            Thank you and best wishes
            Chris

We noticed this problem after upgrading our Jira Server from version 7.2.3 to version 7.11.0 a week ago.

I think this bug deserves to be reopened.
