Issues closed in future sprints do not show up in the Backlog until the Sprint is started

    Description

      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Software Server. Using JIRA Software Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      Steps to reproduce :

      1. Create an issue and add it to a future Sprint.
      2. Notice that it shows up on the backlog view of the Rapid board
      3. Now close that issue
      4. Notice that it disappears from the backlog view
      5. Now start the Sprint
      6. Notice that the issue suddenly appears in the Sprint as a closed issue

      This is confusing for the users.
