Status labels of sub-tasks are cut off in the ticket detail panel

      To reproduce.

      1. Go to plan more or work mode
      2. Select a standard issue that contains sub-tasks
      3. In the ticket details panel, scroll to the sub-tasks section

The environment I am using is:

      • Firefox 35.0.1 (on Windows 7)
      • JIRA 6.3.11
      • JIRA Agile 6.6.13
      • Screen Resolution: 1366 x 768

This appears to happen either when the sub-task's issue key and/or the summary is too long to also fit the status. In plan mode we can resize the panel to accommodate this issue. However we cannot change the size of the detail panel in work mode. This is troublesome as we have a quick filter to show only standard issues and we use the ticket details to scan for the sub-task status.

Perhaps the status could be set beneath the issue key so it is always shown (or allow us to resize the detail panel in work mode).

            Hey Ryan,

We currently have a issue open about the ability to resize the details panel in work mode. Please watch and vote that issue for updates.

            Thanks,
            JIRA Agile Team.

kshekhar, I do have a horizontal scroll bar in the sub-task section, if I scroll to the bottom of that section. I have a sufficient number of sub-tasks such that they do not all display on one screen. However I do not see the horizontal scrollbar as a solution. I would need to vertical scroll to the bottom, then horizontally scroll the subtasks to the right (potentially cutting of other details such as the issue key) and then vertically scroll again to see the statuses (but no issue key). Being able to resize the details panel would be sufficient. Currently its size is locked and unchangeable.

            Hi ryanewtaylor,

I was able to reproduce this problem. However I had a horizontal scroll bar in the subtask section, using which I could then see the entire status. Is this scroll bar not appearing on your screen?

            Regards,
            JIRA Agile Team.
