Eliminate language warnings about JIRA Agile fields

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Software Server. Using JIRA Software Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      This is caused by changing JIRA system language after JIRA Agile is installed. It's harmless, but annoying.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Install JIRA and set system language to German
      2. Install JIRA Agile -> Agile is installed in German
      3. Change JIRA system language to English
      4. The following warnings are seen in the log: 
        2015-02-02 15:15:50,497 localhost-startStop-1 WARN      [manager.issue.fields.CustomFieldContextConfiguratorImpl] Field 'Epos-Status': Option on index '0' was 'Aufgaben' but we expected to be 'To Do'
2015-02-02 15:15:50,544 localhost-startStop-1 WARN      [manager.issue.fields.CustomFieldContextConfiguratorImpl] Field 'Epos-Status': Option on index '1' was 'In Arbeit' but we expected to be 'In Progress'
2015-02-02 15:15:50,622 localhost-startStop-1 WARN      [manager.issue.fields.CustomFieldContextConfiguratorImpl] Field 'Epos-Status': Option on index '2' was 'Fertig' but we expected to be 'Done'
2015-02-02 15:15:50,700 localhost-startStop-1 WARN      [manager.issue.fields.CustomFieldContextConfiguratorImpl] Field 'Epos-Status': Option 'Aufgaben' was default but we expected to be 'To Do'

            Any update here? Ticket open since 4 years.

            The messages came up for us while running an copy project with boards script on an 8.0.2 Datacenter installation.

            It would be nice to see this msg's fixed. Why are these warnings implemented? Does the language switch has any downsides? Is there a possible pitfall? Or why are the warning msg's displayed?
