      Hi all,

We're excited to announce that the ability to see remaining estimate in workload by assignee is now a feature that just shipped in JIRA Software 7.5!
We really appreciate your patience with this feature request. Your insights have been invaluable in helping us understand the issue better.

While we had moved this outside of our plans for the year ahead, a developer on our team built a prototype to prove that we could deliver the feature in a much simpler fashion than previously imagined. Bravo for ShipIt!

It's now available in JIRA Software 7.5 for you to download so you can start planning your next upgrade straight away!
Learn more in our release notes.

      Cheers,
      Jakub Lazinski

Original summary: "As a user, it would be great to include 'Remaining Estimate and Time Spent' in 'Workload by Assignee' summary"
      —

The "Workload by Assignee" summary only calculate Estimation Statistic but not 'Time Tracking' such as 'Remaining Estimate and Time Spent'.

As the summary does not include time estimated against subtasks, the results will confuse some users ("This says I've got 4h work, but I've got 20h in subtasks.")

To hide the summary, please add the following JavaScript into the JIRA Announcement Banner:

The Workload Pie chart has a config choice to view Remaining Estimate. Used with the Assignee you can see a pie chart of the user workload with Remaining Estimate field. Use a saved filter such as "sprint = my_sprint_name"

            Hi florian.zschocke226016706

Thank you for sharing the appropriate issue created for the situation you described. I encourage you and everyone interested to vote for it and watch it in order to track any changes about the way the 'Remainig Estimate' in Workload by Assignee dialog functions.

            Cheers,

            Pawel, Jira Developer

Unfortunately the remaining estimate in workload by assignee calculates the sum incorrectly from sub-tasks. It doesn't take the value from the sub-tasks assigned to the user, but the "remaining sum" from a story assigned to a user. Which means that if a story has sub-tasks with different assignees, the value in workload by assignee will be incorrect.

            See JSWSERVER-15109.

The fix version says Available in JIRA Software Cloud, 7.5.0

Is this fixed in Jira Cloud?
            I don't see a linked ticket for the Jira-Cloud

            Thanks

I also agree as project manager in a high-tech company that the ability to see 'Remaining Time Estimate' in Workload by Assignee' summary is very useful for the sprint planning. The lack of this feature can be considered a bug.

Agreed that ability to see 'Remaining Time Estimate' in Workload by Assignee' summary is very useful especially when issues do not get closed in one sprint and need to be moved to the following Sprint, so please reconsider implementing it.

I would like to have in addition effectiv work load capacity for employees in this sprint (defined work load minus holiday, public holiday and exceptions)
