      While the issues in Epics panel can be manually moved to be reordered, this is not a good way to sort when there are many Epics issues.

      It would be better the isses in Epics panel can be ordered and/or filtered by applying a filter.

            +1 you should have the ability to apply different filters to the epic panel. basic sorts. also, group by parent issue (e.g., milestone, initiative)

            +1 this would really help.  Even if it's just a per-project setting, that'd be great.  Wouldn't have to be dynamic per epic IMO.

            Voting for. From my POV the ideal implementation would be to allow (but not require) the Epics panel to have its own ORDER BY defined, but a filter would be helpful as well, especially if it behaved similarly to the Board view issue filter.
