I'd like the tasks to be automatically put "In Progress" when at least one subtask is put "in Progress"

Many times my charts aren't accurate as the scrum masters forgot to put a Story "in progress", while the subtasks are moved from the "to do" column. This is mainly caused by the fact that you cannot "move" a task on the board when this task has subtasks. Is there a way to automatically declare "In Progress" a task when one of its subtasks goes "in progress"?
      thanks for your help
