Well, thank you. We've just wasted a couple of thousand dollars in man-hours trying to figure out why swipe wouldn't work on our digital whiteboard. Trying every setting and option between screen, laptop and dock.
Never did it occur to us that a company like Atlassian, with a broadly-used suite like Jira, did not support touch interfaces.
Completely and utterly baffling.
This deficiency is all throughout Jira by the way, not only at the current sprint. A user should be able to swipe issues up and down on the backlog too, or any of the other pages.
Personally, I would categorize this issue as a shortcoming or bug, rather than improvement, because functionalities like these are nowadays expected as basic features, and not "extra's".
I can't add labels or related tickets, but maybe helpful for someone who can:

We live in a world of touch screens. It's been 18 years since the introduction of mass market touch devices. The market for touch-enabled laptops and 2-in-1-devices is booming on every single continent. Especially developers and management use touch screen laptops. Software teams gather around huge digital Kanban boards for their daily standups. Atlassian, you're way behind on this. This is a low hanging fruit. You can do it!
