After some analysis we've found that this issue has been duplicated by the issue at (JSWCLOUD-18806) Actions button doesn't show the list when the menu has a lot of options. This is a current and verified bug in Jira Software, please watch that issue for further updates and more detailed workarounds.
Issue Summary
Actions button in Backlog view doesn't open if it contains more options in new issue view. The more add-ons Cloud instance has, it would populate more options in Actions button in Backlog view and Jira can't open it.
Steps to Reproduce
- Installed a few add-ons which populate more options in Actions button
- Create some issues in a board
- Open Backlog view
Expected Results
The Actions button responds and shows all the options.
Actual Results
Nothing happens
Workaround
- Disable new view from https://URL.atlassian.net/secure/ViewPersonalSettings.jspa
- Or, zoom out the browser until it displays all the options.
