Please add an option to my user profile to prevent notifications from being sent when an issue I'm watching/voted on/created/assigned to receives a new comment where the only contents are "+1".
I don't need this for my own instance of Jira Cloud, by the way. I need it right here on Atlassian's own instance where Jira's own issues are tracked!
For example, I'm watching this issue and the +1 notifications are just silly:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17214
And no amount of other commenters trying to inform +1 posters that +1 doesn't help anyone (vote, people!) is helping to prevent additional +1 comments from being added. I'm sure this is system-wide and that perhaps 10's of thousands of individual watchers would be ever so grateful for this feature!
Yes, my e-mail client may be able to filter these kinds of messages out if I get tricky, but really, this should totally be a built-in option in Jira!
Everyone reading this, for (insert your favorite deity here)'s sake, do not post a +1 comment on this issue - vote for it instead! If you want to add your two cents in a comment, awesome, but just don't add a (that deity again) forsaken +1, OK?!
