Ability to add a comment when flagging an issue

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      When using the old view and flagging an issue, it has an option to add a comment before adding the flag.
      It would be good if we also have this option on the new issue view to make sure users will add the reason why they are flagging the issue.

            I believe this issue is a duplicate of   JSWCLOUD-17127 Provide the ability to add a comment when adding flag or remove the flag to an issue using the New Issue View Menu options

            I recommend that watchers of this issue vote on and watch the above issue. So that votes aren't split, I believe this ticket should be closed, but I will wait a week before taking any action in case anyone thinks both issues should continue to exist. Thank you!

            As an alternative, I have a coworker that would like to see a "flagged reason" required to be updated and either display directly on the card or show when hovering over it.  Adding a label can function as a work-around, but it can get lost amongst the noise of other labels on the card.

             In the old view, we have typed flags (regression, impediment, etc) and the types are visible. In the new view, the types aren't visible.
