As an Admin I want to allow JSM customers to view and select options in an Insight Object custom field in the Customer Portal

      Problem Definition

When the JSM customer portal is access by a user who does not belong to the "jira-users" or "jira-servicedesk-users" group (a customer) they cannot search an Insight Object custom field.

Example of "customer" access to right and a Jira user to the left.

      Suggested Solution

Allow "customers" to search/select any defined Insight Object custom field present on the customer portal

      Workaround

One can enable the Insight Object Picker to be available on the Portal (see Custom field configuration screen)
Be aware of JSDSERVER-8496 - as all attributes will be exposed this way

No valid workaround as it requires either the user to be added as a Jira user (consume license and no longer a customer) or to utilize a non-Insight custom field and scripting to modify the Insight field.
