Problem Definition

Insight Asset Management has the option to export objects using a format of "User friendly". This allows linked Jira users to be exported as "display name" and not the Jira "user key".

Insight Reports when exporting data as CSV do not have the option to export in "user friendly" format restricting output for linked Jira users to the rather meaningless user key.

Suggested Solution

Provide the "user friendly" option on all Insight exports including an option to select "username" or "email address" for Jira user references.

Workaround

Current workaround is adding additional attributes to an Insight Object to contain the Jira user "display name", "username" and/or "email address" and either scripting or manually updating these for each and every Jira user. An onerous and excessive task.
