Problem Definition
Some organizations may required to deploy Discovery Agents in many hosts and copy configuration files over Discovery Agents.
In Discovery tool, there is an "Agent File-Transfer List" setting to copy files over Discovery Agents.
However, there is not a feature to remove unwanted patterns on the Discovery Agents.
Deleting manually all the unwanted pattern across all Agents instances is not a solution.
Suggested Solution
There should be an option to delete them remotely or the Discovery agent should have some configuration like Discovery (Discovery.cfg) to modify what patterns are executed

I would very much appreciate this functionality. We used to have our client data imported via the SCCM-integration on our Server version of Insight.
As the SCCM-integration is not available for Assets in the cloud, I am looking for alternative ways to import clients into Assets.
Two options:
As Option [1] would be very work-intensive, I have decided to go for option [2]. To manage about 1'000 Discovery Agents on 1'000 laptops, I need to be able to add, change and delete patterns on the laptops.
