Problem Definition
There may be cases as addressed in JSDSERVER-4732, customers may have installed Service Desk and then removed it. Over the years once they finally install this back, they realize that Service Desk would not work correctly due to upgrade tasks being missing. This can cause a huge overhead and friction as this would require downgrading the instance and upgrading back or modifying the database directly.
Suggested Solution
Instead of downgrading, which causes huge downtimes or updating the database which may be risky, it would be better if there is a script that the customer can install which contains all the upgrade tasks so that they may upgrade their databases easily and safely.
