            Hi guys,

            The announcement banner from JIRA not showing up in the customer portal is by design. However, we are considering a new feature to allow another way to add announcements to the portal as tracked in the linked feature request.

            Service desk doesn't show the announcement banner though, so this solution doesn't work.
