      Suggestion.

At the moment, the approval email notification template does not contain a variable which could allow the person requesting for approval to include some "message" in this approval notice. An example of what this "message" could be is a statement that describes why the approval is requested. The variables currently available for the approval notification can be seen in the screenshot below:

While the ${request.details} variable is available by default in approval notification template, this ${request.details} shows the content of "Summary" and "Description". All is good if the reason for approval is stated in the "Summary" or "Description". However, in cases where approval reason is not clearly stated in "Summary" or "Description", having an option to include the earlier mentioned "message" would be good to have.

[JSDSERVER-5937] Include additional information to approval email template

This comes up every so often, and it never gets enough votes to go anywhere. If you want something like this, go vote for https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-5506!

Please, this is a very much needed feature, or i'd rather say, a missing variable.
