      Description

We use Jira Service Management in a multi-national corporation where some locations do not speak English as a first language.

As this is the case, can the ability to change approve/decline to the preferred language of the user be added instead of the current static buttons?

This is a known limitation of Jira Service Management translation support:

Here are some things that aren't included right now:

      • Linking a Confluence space to a chosen language
      • Translating the customer satisfaction survey
      • Translating the Approve and Reject buttons for approvals
      • Searching for translated request types and portals on the customer portal

      Suggestion

Support translations of the approve and decline button in Jira Service Management. Supported languages should align with the available languages in the Jira Data Center platform.

The funny part is when I send a test email of the Approver required notification template the buttons translated perfectly in the email but not if the customer receives it...

This should be considered as a bug not as a suggestion.

Down south we speak Spanish, and using Spanish as language still shows these messages in English... nonsense... as many other messages which are still in English, even so...
