Since version 3.9.0 of server, there has been the ability to use automation to automatically process approvals: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedesk/jira-service-desk-3-9-x-release-notes-939711776.html#JIRAServiceDesk3.9.xreleasenotes-autoapprove

However the Server documentation makes no mention of this yet.   It would be helpful if the server documents could be updated for 3.9 to indicate this is possible, much like the Cloud version currently does.    Please update this information in 3.10 and later spaces as well
